Michael Cashin

Michael Cashin spent more than twenty years inside Shell’s HR and talent acquisition organization, doing the work most consultants only advise on: filling hard roles, building recruiting functions, and keeping a global energy business staffed through up-cycles and downturns.

He joined Shell in 2006 leading recruitment for the Lubricants business, then spent more than a decade as Talent Acquisition Leader for Shell’s US technical and commercial organizations, responsible for hiring the engineers, operators, and commercial professionals an energy major runs on. From there he moved into Executive Global Resourcing, recruiting senior leaders worldwide, and closed out his Shell career as a Senior HR Advisor for the US, working people matters far beyond recruiting.

In 2026 he founded Cashin Workforce Solutions LLC to bring that experience directly to commercial, oil & gas, and industrial businesses that need senior HR judgment without big-firm overhead. He currently serves as a talent partner supporting Jiffy Lube International.

Michael is also a Certified Mediator, trained at the A.A. White Dispute Resolution Center at the University of Houston Law Center, a skill set that shows up everywhere in HR: negotiations, difficult conversations, and keeping people problems from becoming business problems.
